Fans will be hitting stores this week for Force Friday II, the special Star Wars event marking the debut of tons of cool new merchandise. Not only will this be a chance to see characters and vehicles introduced in Star Wars: The Last Jedi (including through augmented reality), but a lot of this stuff will also be fun to play with. Here are the toys we’re most excited about:
The hottest item from Force Friday a couple years ago was the remote control BB-8 from Sphero, and now we’ve got his evil counterpart. Resembling a black BB-8 with a different-shaped headpiece, the BB-9E also has LED lights. Another thing we’ve learned about the droid is that on set he was nicknamed BB-H8. Here he is with BB-8 and a cool new R2-D2 toy that reacts to movies:

We’re unapologetically in love with the cute little Porgs already. And there are many items featuring the creatures, including plush toys. Porgs might just be the new Ewoks in terms of their adorable, huggable fuzzballness. There are sure to be plain old plush Porgs, and then there’s also this one that squawks, walks and flaps its wings:

Speaking of Porgs, there’s a new Funko figure of Chewbacca holding one that is also very cute. Good to see Chewbacca has a new friend… Additionally, there are a whole bunch of The Last Jedi tie-ins from Funko, including figures of new characters BB-9E and Rose plus a much clearer-looking Supreme Leader Snoke. Here’s an unboxing video showcasing all of Funko’s goodies:
Lego Millennium Falcon
Of course Star Wars gets to have the largest Lego set ever (topping the Taj Mahal set). The new Millennium Falcon is more than 7500 pieces and is priced just shy of $800. The set also comes with two different versions of Han Solo (original trilogy and The Force Awakens) and eight more minifigs, including Porgs! Find out more, and see more images here.

Hasbro Force Link Band
Last but certainly not least is the toy to supplement a lot of other toys. Every major Star Wars fan will be wanting to get Hasbro’s new The Last Jedi action figures and playsets, including Kylo Ren’s new TIE Silencer fighter, but those are just regular old toys without the Force Link band that makes your figures talk and your ships light up and play sounds. Check out the video ad below.
Force Link Band though…
