The Cameroon international had reservations about joining Brighton

Angers striker Karl Toko Ekambi rejected an approach from Brighton on deadline day, according to reports in France.
The Seagulls were desperate to bring in a new forward before the transfer window shut and failed with an 11th hour bid for Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen.
The 23-year-old Dutchman was reportedly unconvinced about a move to Brighton and subsequently rejected their approach.
Toko Ekambi was another player being chased by Brighton boss Chris Hughton but, according to L’Equipe, he snubbed them too.
Like Janssen, the Cameroon international had reservations about joining Brighton and as a result he turned them down.
The Seagulls were willing to splash around £9m on Toko Ekambi had the 24-year-old given the green light to the switch.
