Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, the 22 year old revealed what life — from work to romances — has been like since taking part in the ITV2 show.
Georgia, who recently confirmed she’s single, laughed: “I’ve definitely had a few boys sliding in the DMs.”
Georgia took to Twitter to announce her split from fellow Love Island contestant Sam Gowland.
She told us: “Obviously I’ve met so many people and there’s always going to be people who catch your eye but it’s actually well too soon [for anything serious].
“I don’t really immediately fancy someone when I meet them it usually takes a couple of weeks, obviously I’ve only just become single but I am ready to meet people again so… so yeh no one set in stone yet, but I’m definitely optimistic.”
She revealed good pal Montana Brown has been texting her every day since the show ended to help boost her confidence, telling she needs to be more confident around the opposite sex, and start going for the nice boys.
On splitting with her Newcastle-born boyfriend, Georgia revealed she’s got no hard feelings: “Yeh we’re no longer together. We will definitely remain friends. I wish him the best of luck in life he’s only young and he’s a nice boy and I’m sure he’s going to go far.”
But other than her roller coaster romances, Georgia’s entire life has been turned upside since the show, too.
“It’s literally just amazing, from the moment the experience started from today everything’s just got better every day. I’ve had so many opportunities come my way. “
Having appeared on TOWIE in 2014, she explained just how different the reaction has been: “Obviously TOWIE is one thing but this [Love Island] is just on another level. Literally everywhere you go people recognise you. As we got our phone back in the airport [after leaving the villa] we got a feel what’s really happened and how much life has changed. It’s much bigger than TOWIE in every way. “
Georgia, whose denim-filled and slogan tee-heavy collection with Lasula launches today (August 24, 2017) at 5pm, explains how she’s not like other Essex girls.
“My style is quirky, a bit trendy. Not exactly like your typical Essex girl in bodycons and big heels! I try and bit a more edgy with my style, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But I suppose its better than being the same,” she told us.
And that quirky style in reflected in her new collection.
