The FIFA 18 demo release date appears to have been leaked early ahead of the big announcement from EA Sports.
According to a new retail listing, the footy demo will launch on September 15, 2017.
The FIFA 18 demo page went live early on the Xbox Store, complete with a release date and a 7.3GB file size.
Fans can access the demo page by selecting the Ronaldo Nazario ICON Loan after searching for FIFA 18 content.
As YouTube channel DTT points out, the demo page appears in the list of “Works With” related content at the bottom of the page.
Express Online can confirm that the FIFA 18 demo did appear on the Xbox One console, but not the Xbox website.
This would mean it debuting around two-weeks before the full game, something that has happened in the past.
We can’t be certain what teams will be playable, although it seems likely that they will be the same that have been available to try out at events like E3 and in the recent beta.
EA Sports have been allowing gamers to play a version of FIFA 18 at various different gaming events, with the teams available listed below:
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, PSG, LA Galaxy and Toronto FC.
There could still be changes made to this list before the FIFA 18 demo goes live, however, it seems like a pretty solid list of footy clubs to be included.
Mass Effect Andromeda DLC may have been scrapped, but fans have been given fresh hope of new content.
BioWare recently confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda wouldn’t have any single-player DLC and that there would be no more patches for the main game.
But fans will be pleased to hear that EA may revisit the Mass Effect franchise in the future.
That’s according to EA’s Patrick Soderlund, who described it as a spectacular universe with a big fanbase.
“I’ve seen people saying ‘Oh, EA’s not making another Mass Effect’,” he told GameReactor.
“I see no reason why we shouldn’t come back to Mass Effect. Why not? It’s a spectacular universe, it’s a loved [series], it has a big fanbase, and it’s a game that has done a lot for EA and for BioWare.”
Soderlund warns that if it does return, it would need to be fresh and exciting.
Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar DLC has finally been given a release date by EA.
In fact, the Battlefield 1 DLC has been given two release dates for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Giving fans the best reason yet to purchase a season pass, Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar has been given a September 5 release date for Premium Pass holders.
This will be followed by a full release as a standalone pack on September 19.
The upcoming DLC shifts the action to the Eastern front, where players will join the Russian army in what is described as the most extensive Battlefield expansion to date.
In the Name of the Tsar features six new maps, as well as a host of new weapons, vehicles and calvary.
New maps include Lupkow Pass, Albion, Galicia and Brusilov Keep, while weapons include the Mosin-Nagant M91 and the Russian Standard 1912 grenade.
Perhaps most exciting of all is the Supply Drop game mode, in which teams fight for supplies dropped by planes.
In the Name of the Tsar also adds female soldiers to the game as part of the first Russian Women’s Battalion of Death.
