Of course, it is no surprise that Loki is in another sticcky situation.
The current ruler of Asgard has a bad habit of making enemies wherever he goes. Although the teaser shows him teaming up with big brother Thor in Ragnarok, it looks like he will still getting into fight with iconiccharacters.
One of them is a new addition to teh Marvel Cinematic Universe who we expect to see alot more of in Avengers Infinity War.
Excitingly for fans, she is also one of The Defenders from the Marvel comicbooks.
With only a few months to go until Thor:Ragnarok hits the big screens, new revelations are images are dropping constantly.
The latest shows Loki merrily engaged in hand to hand combat with Valkyrie. The former Asgardian warrior has already been seen bringing down Thor in the trailers and it looks like she is aiming for his baby brother, too.
So far fans have only seen Loki turning his weapons on nameless enemy soldiers, so why is he fighting one of the MCU’s most iconic heroes?
Loki hardly needs any excuse to pick a quarrel, but Valkyrie also is expected to follow and interesting story curve in teh upcoming movies.
Played by Tessa Thompson, the warrior also known as Brunnhilde was one of Odin’s favourite’s back on Asgard. He chose her to lead the Valkrior.
Valkyrie also caught the eye of Thor in the comicbooks and was sometimes his lover.
In Thor:Ragnarok all we know so far is that Valkyrie is working for Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster, who is one of the powerful Elders of the universe.
She has renounced her ties to Asgard and is not interested in teaming up with Thor (or his little brother, it seems).
However, love may still be in the air. Marvel boss Kevin Feige said: “[Thor’s] relationship with Jane [Foster] may have evolved in unexpected ways in between The Dark World and Ragnarok and we wanted to pit him against a character who was much more his equal and in many ways his superior.”
Thompson is already expected to reprise her role in Avengers: Infinity War.
THOR RAGNAROK IS OUT IN UK CINEMAS ON OCTOBER 27.
